MOUNTING OPTIONS

Aside from the standard square baseplate, Atlas offers several other highly versatile mounting options that are available with our standard and leveling casters.

Corner Baseplate
  • mounts to frame members easily and acts as a gusset
  • leveler is positioned in the inside corner and can be adjusted and secured from above or below
  • mounts to multiple sizes of frame tubing and extruded aluminum profiles
  • maximizes stability
  • eliminates extra parts greatly reducing the cost of installation
Stem (Leveling Casters Only)
  • can be nested into corners for a lower overall height with a gusset
  • can be mounted directly onto vertical frame posts for maximum stability
  • leveler is still adjustable from overhead with SX leveler stud
  • upper raceway must be properly supported
Height Adjustable Stem (Leveling Casters Only)
  • a small, thick gusset in the corner with a threaded hole allows the caster to be mounted onto the frame
  • like the standard stem, it can be nested into corners for a lower overall height
  • caster can mount directly onto a frame member with the addition of a machined threaded insert
  • can be adjusted from the side with a special nut.
  • upper raceway does not need any additional support
Hollow Kingpin (Standard Casters Only)
  • a commercial fastener can be inserted through the hollow kingpin to become a stem caster of any length
  • can be mounted directly onto frame corners
  • can be nested into corners for a lower overall height
  • one of our threaded inserts can also be used for overhead attachment with a commercial fastener
  • upper raceway must be properly supported
